Researchers at Hash BioTech are developing the algal technology for the detoxification of waste effluent or soils. Effluents are treated with microalgae in specially designed ponds with excess of population of microalgae and we also developed different type of algal bio-filters for the treatment of effluent from various industries. Efforts are being made to develop or improve various strains of microalgae which efficiently remove toxic chemicals and heavy metals form waste effluents.
