Bio Ethanol |
Bio-Ethanol is becoming an increasingly important alternative fuel and can be used as an alternative to gasoline. Bio-ethanol is mainly produced by the sugar fermentation process. Algae, due to its fermentable sugars (e.g. Carbohydrates), is currently an industrial starting material for ethanol production.

The overwhelming advantage of bio-ethanol for the environment is its potential to be carbon neutral. By blending ethanol with gasoline can also oxygenate the fuel mixture so it burns completely and reduces polluting emissions.
At Hash BioTech our team of scientists has identified potential strains of micro algae capable of producing large volume of bio ethanol. Efforts are further being made to improve such potential strains to further enhance its capability and optimize conditions for large scale commercial production.
